Art Tells Stories. Let’s Tell Yours

Many of the works you see here and on my Instagram were created as commissions for clients and collectors who wanted to tell a meaningful story through art, just like you.

If you have a story you want to preserve, reflect on, or pass down, it’s never too early to start the conversation. While I’m not always available for new commissions, I’m always open to discussing ideas and exploring what’s possible.

Commissioning artwork doesn’t need to feel intimidating. Creating meaningful work is a collaborative process, and I’ll guide you through each step from concept to completion.

To establish a fair, realistic quote, I use what I call The Four S’s:

1. Size

Size matters, but not always in the way you’d expect. I work in a wide range of formats, from small, intimate pieces to larger statement works. Smaller does not always mean less expensive, so we’ll talk through options that make sense for your space, intent, and budget.

2. Style

My primary medium is charcoal, but I also work with graphite, ink, digital formats, oil, acrylic, and watercolor. If you have a particular style in mind, we can discuss how to best achieve your vision. Whether it’s a moody charcoal portrait or a vibrant acrylic piece, each medium offers unique qualities.

I do not offer graphic design services for apparel, but I’m happy to recommend artists who specialize in that space.

3. Sample

Reference material matters. When creating derivative works, the quality of the reference image often determines the strength of the final piece. I work from photographs and reference materials, applying artistic interpretation where needed. If your reference is imperfect, I can often fill in the gaps to create something compelling and emotionally grounded.

4. Schedule

Most commissions are completed within 4–5 weeks from the project start date. If you’re working toward a specific deadline, let me know early and I’ll do my best to accommodate. Timing is one of the biggest variables, and early conversations make all the difference.

What’s Next?

Using the form below, send me an email describing your idea. If possible, include reference materials in the highest resolution available. From there, we’ll talk through the concept, I’ll provide a detailed quote, and once we agree on scope and a deposit is received, we’ll get started.

At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to create artwork you’re proud to live with, display, and eventually pass down.

The first step is a message. I look forward to hearing your story.
